Very Nice!

I have one like that in my bedroom, not a VG just American Standard with vintage noiseless pups, sounds fantastic.

Would buy one too if it had a 13 pin out so I could hook it up to my VG-99 and GR-33. The new Standards kick royal a&& IMO.

Re: My VG Strat

Fender has hinted that the VG will be back at some point. I always wondered if they may be planning a Roland jack. I am not sure why they did not sell well. It is a great USA Standard Strat and does the other options well. The downside is battery life. You have to use rechargeable batteries. They last longer. I get 4 to 6 hours with rechargeables. I have a spare set charged. Regular AA batteries to way to fast.

I hope they do bring back the VG Strat. This time with a 13 pin Roland jack. I think they would sell many more with this feature. Here s a link to a Music Video that I used my Fender Roland Ready Strat on. http://vimeo.com/channels/sbmusic#9722087

I was considering one a few years back, but I thought that the price was a tad high, plus the battery issue gave me pause...perhaps they'll find a more affordable version works better in the future.
