Talking ssl 1/4 pound flat seymour duncan

ritchie blackmore used these. thinking about getting one for my strat. any opinions on this pickup? ssl4 quarter pound flats. the ssl 7 are the same except the magnets are staggerd and not flat. so anyone tried them?
